Grass!!:)

It's official - we are no longer the rednecks on the block without grass!! We finally laid our sod two weekends ago. We had the help of the my parents, the missionaries, and our neighbors (I think they wanted to help out all they could because they were tired of living next to DIRT!!) to get the sod laid and picked up. Our yard looks great and the boys keep asking dad "when can we walk on it and play football!" - those who know Cam know that he is "a little" extra anal when it comes to anything like this. The people recommend 2-3 weeks so in Cam's mind its 4-6 weeks before we will be able to step foot on the grass!! Oh well he worked VERY hard to complete our wall and all the dirt work so we can wait a little extra time!!

get grass - "why can't we just keep the dirt?"

He will LOVE it - I know it!!

My dad and mom came over Friday night to

drop the bobcat off - so when my dad and I went

to get the grass the next morning we wouldn't make

noise so early in the morning!! We had Gram help

us level the dirt!!

Teylor was such a BIG help - the guys would get

the rolls off the pallet and put it where it needed to

go and Teylor would unroll them and pull them into

place - he did great!!

The job completed!! We still have to put some bushes

behind that little wall Cam is standing on and we are going

to put a few trees in - we just haven't completely decided on

where we want to put them yet!

It was so hot out that day so Parkar and went

inside and were sitting on Teylor's window bench

in his room and Hoobie was being silly playing with

my glasses! Isn't he SO cute!




He snuck on the lawn before Daddy had

to scoop him off the grass - he didn't know

what to think of the grass! He thought he was sneaky!
