A BABY BOY WHO NOW WALKS!!!! Parkar out of the blue on April 16th started walking and the little monster hasn't stopped!! I carried him into to my mom's office and I put him on the floor and he started walking back and forth between us several times. A few of girls, my mom, and I were all clapping and telling him good job - he was showing off and thought he was something special (he was). That night I told Cameron about it and then he started doing it again - walking back and forth between Cameron and I and he has been walking ever since! We are so proud of him. He still goes to physical therapy because the therapist says he doesn't walk through with his left leg - she wants to get him a little stronger. We think though just in the last week he has really straightened his leg out and walks a lot steadier. He loves to walk and you can just tell he is so proud of himself and so glad he can walk now. He wants to walk everywhere we go. If we are holding him he wiggles around so he can get down and walk. It is so funny how it took him so long but as soon as he started he picked it up very quickly. We are very excited that he can now walk - especially Mommy - he was getting way to heavy to carry around everywhere!!

It's been a while!
Wow, we hadn't realized it had been almost 3 weeks since our last post. All of our snow we received at the end of March is finally gone!! Monday was a beautiful day (finally) and now we are getting more rain and possible snow - booo. Teylor and his team were finally able to have a practice on Monday. They had to cancel his first two games and had only had one practice. He is supposed to have his first game this Tuesday. He did really well at practice (compared to his first) and actually jumped right in and played. I was so happy for him because you could tell he was stepping out of his comfort zone but did great! He asked me before if he did good at practice if we would be able to go out to Gram and Gramps house so that might of helped him out but whatever it takes!!! They also received their jerseys and he thought that was really cool because he was on a "real team now - just like Austin and Dalton!" We are anxious to see how he does at his game -they are so funny.
Parkar FINALLY took five steps on his own on March 30th!!! We are so proud of him.
He has been starting to walk around things a lot more and really progressing. He started Physical Therapy last week. The therapist gave us some good exercises to help get his little legs strong and to help him feel comfortable on his feet. We have tried several times to help him walk with a walking push toy but he never would do it - but yesterday he grabbed the handles and walked right down the hall - he isn't quite sure how to turn it around but BIG brother helped show him the way!

When we hold his hands to walk he still walks sideways but he is slowly getting better!! Him and I were at my mom's work today and he was walking back and forth between us showing off for the girls - he thought he was pretty neat! He has made huge progress the last couple weeks with getting more comfortable with himself and standing up - so the walking (we think) is just around the corner!!!
We had a busy weekend with Easter. On Saturday we took the boys to an Easter egg hunt. They had a lot of fun. Teylor won an Easter bunny basketball for picking up a little basketball on the field. They put two little balls on each field for each age group and whoever gets the ball gets a prize. He was really excited he won the basketball bunny!

Parkar picked up one egg and was completely satisfied with that - he just wanted the candy that was in it!

We decorated eggs on Saturday evening and had a great time together. We had a lot of fun watching Teylor decorate the way he wanted to. Parkar would just put his eggs in the color bowls and then get them out and put them back in - he had a lot fun. He was a little confused as to why his hands were changing colors!

Sunday morning was fun watching them find eggs. Parkar was so funny because he would find one and then want to eat what was in it before he would look for another egg. Teylor had a fun time finding all the eggs. We had a great morning.
We went to church and then had my parents over for dinner. We were all very tired after the weekend but had a great time!
Teylor insisted Parkar wear one of his ties!!

Sorry for the long post - Next time we won't wait so long!
