Once again I have failed to keep up on the blogging thing! We haven't been to busy so I can't use that as an excuse - I just haven't got around to it! Not much is new here - just keeping busy with the house, boys, and life in general. Cameron has been sick with respiratory infections off and on since November and finally went to ER last Sunday when he started coughing up blood. They did a chest x-ray and blood work and that all looked fine - so they gave him an inhaler and antibiotic's and told him to follow up with a doctor to do further tests to see why he keeps getting sick. He is at his appointment now so we will see what he says.
This month was Teylor's date night with mom. Teylor chose to go to a Hockey game which I thought would be pretty fun to watch and then last minute he changed his mind and wanted to go the water park at one of the hotels. I tried a little bit to talk him out of it but it didn't work and I'm glad because we had a REALLY fun time. We played in the lazy river for a while, we played A LOT of basketball which was really fun (I definitely got an arm workout lifting him up and down so much), and we played on the slides and jungle gym spraying water at each other. We were there for 2 1/2 hours and had non-stop fun. After swimming he decided he wanted to get dessert and chose to go to Village Inn. He wanted a brownie with ice cream and a piece of cheesecake and they were so delicious!! We had a fun time spending time together just the two of us and I look forward to the next time.
While we were having fun Cameron and Parkar did a little date night also. They went to the store to pick out a book for Parkar and then they went to the movie store and got ELMO movies with snacks and then came home and watched ELMO!!! Parkar loved it - I pretty sure Daddy did too.
We finally brought the potty chair into the boys' bathroom and can't wait to start potty training..wink - not really excited about it!! He is getting to big! He loves to wear his brother's underwear and often will bring out the whole drawer full of underwear or wear several pairs at a time. It is going to be fun!!
Today I had to register Teylor for kindergarten :( - in order to be guaranteed him a spot at the elementary school by our house you have to get in line at the crack of dawn because they only take 60 students. So today I was up and at the school by 6:40 and the temperature said it was -9 but felt like -25 with many other parents hoping to get their child into that school. I waited in line for almost an hour before they let us in to fill out all the paper work. He goes back in March to do a screening and then he will be all set for kindergarten next year - very sad - I can't believe is going into kindergarten all ready!
