Teylor has been growing his hair out since January so he could attempt to have hair like Troy Bolton!! He wanted to be able to "flip" his hair like Troy. We had been VERY patient in letting him grow his hair but we finally told him he needed to get it cut. We before we cut it that we would get "Troy" pictures in his High School Musical stuff. We had a guy from our church take his pictures and then he added some logos onto them. Teylor had a really fun time taking them and thinks they are the neatest thing because they have "the real" High School Musical logo on some of them!!

This picture is our favorite -it is so neat

Doing the hair flip

He also took a couple of Parkar playing on the court

So right when we got home Cameron has this bright idea that he himself is going to give Teylor a haircut! He thought it would be great to give Teylor a mullet. He thought he had the perfect hair to do it. He played around with it for quite a while and then cut the right way - he did pretty good I have to admit other than a couple nics here and there. Needless to say we will continue going to a hair stylist - not back to dad!!
Before the cutting begins

THE MULLET

These were one big post as we have done a lot in the last month - we have two more posts to make but dinner is calling so I have to stop for now!!

Donkey Basketball - The Black Eyed Peas

Every year for the last three years Gillette has held a fundraiser for the local 4-H clubs called Donkey Basketball. There are four players that ride donkeys and a person in the middle of the basketball court. They have to shoot sitting on the donkey and can get off to retrieve the basketball but have to hold on to the donkeys reins at all times. It is rather amusing watching these guys try to pull their donkeys or watch them try to hold on while the donkey is bucking and running down the court. Most teams dress up in funny outfits to make it fun. This year Preston's friend and him put a team together and played. They had a great time and Preston got kinda of frustrated because his donkey wouldn't go past the three point line. They did good and ended up making it the championship game against the local sheriffs department Dare officers. If the ball went out of bounds or got loose people in the audience would always give it to them - the Dare officers ended up winning - but they had a blast playing and all the money went to a great cause!!

Wild Hat Day

Teylor and his preschool class had a crazy hat and sock day two weeks ago!! Teylor and I made his hat from an old helmet. Teylor picked all the things to put on it and it turned out pretty funny!!

Gluing glitter on

Strapping all the feathers and eyes on

Now isn't this cute!!
He thought he did a pretty good job and that his teacher
was going to love it!!
Teylor's class and all their crazy hats!!
We took the boys the park and enjoyed an afternoon playing in the sand, swinging, and the majority of our time playing basketball -Cameron and Teylor's favorite pastime!

Parkar loves swinging - he always hates when we
take him out of the swing!

Here he goes to shoot

Soccer

I know it has been a while but our computer has been messed up and has taken me a while to get back on here!! Our first will be about Teylor's soccer season. He did really well and really enjoyed playing. The first few games he would run behind all the players a little unsure of coming in contact with the ball!! As the season went on he got a lot more aggressive and tried to make an attempt of kicking the ball - which he managed to do three times! He liked throwing the ball in after in went out of bounds and starting the kickoffs. He really learned a lot and can't wait to play again in the fall! Here are pictures from the season.
